Overview
When we arrived on site, the large embankment of this residential new-build was quite the eyesore and a big job. The client required us to design and construct a large retaining wall, engineered to last with natural granite found on-site. A dry stone feature wall was added to make the retaining wall not only functional but beautiful too. The job involved excavation, drainage, paving, irrigation, planting, stone work, rock placement, concreting and considered placement of lighting to achieve the stylish end result. The project took just 4 months and a similar job would cost $90-$110,000.
